Can CH Sweetwaters' Chalk Full 'O Charm "Beau"
We are thrilled to have co-owned this charming boy with Tamaria Hartman of MyKiss Labradors (www.mykisslabradors.com/beau.html) , and grateful to Robin McBain for entrusting him to our care! We love him to pieces!
Beau finished his Canadian Championship in just two show weekends, at the age of 8 months. His first weekend out he went Best of Winners the first day, and Best of Breed the following day. On his second weekend out, he went Best of Opposite Sex twice, as well as Best of Winners......all from the 6-9 month puppy class. In his first two weekends out as a special (at just 15 months of age), Beau was awarded several lovely group placements, as well as a Group 1st followed by a Reserve Best in Show!
Sadly, Beau was diagnosed with Grade II dysplasia in his right elbow, and has been removed from our breeding program for that reason. The good news is that he has found his calling as a therapy dog, and will go on now to touch many lives and hearts. I love all of my dogs, but somehow this boy reached the core of my heart, and I will be forever grateful! Endless thanks to Bev & Richard for being Beau's happy trail!!!!
